This weekend Loopingtales will open its doors for all of you curious people who are interested in our stop-motion videos that are crafted by hand.
Why?
Because Loopingtales is part of Maker City. Maker City is an initiative of Design Vlaanderen, Stad Gent, Fedustria, Design Museum and UNIZO. They – and we also of course, duh! – want to make a statement: we believe the future of crafting in Belgium is BIG. Together with more than hundred other makers we want you to experience the future of craftsmanship.
You can visit our studio at Roderoestraat 1 in Ghent on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of November, from 10:00 to 18:00. We show you how we work and make our stop-motion animations. You can even print yourself in a stop-motion video! Our guest maker is Sam Ponette. It’s his birthday this weekend, so more reason to stop by and celebrate with us.
And there’s more! You can visit the Market of Futures in the Oude Vismijn, see some guerilla street making and visit the Hands on Design exhibition, the 8th Triennale of Design in Ghent.
And all of this for FREE!
Visit www.makercity.be and spread the word.
See you this weekend!
This is fabulous. I wish I could be there!!❤️
That should be great! Take a plane!
